How to be prepared for the unexpected?
The future is about change, and because change is unpredictable you can explore the future to make it that little bit more predictable.
The COVID-19 crisis has highlighted that the world we are living in is far more volatile than many imagined, wanted or could believe. Suddenly billions of people around the globe are under lockdown, and millions of businesses are closed. Others like the first-line health workers, pharmacists and people at working in grocery stores are putting their lives at risk to combat this invisible enemy or provide the necessary means so others can wait out the storm.
There is no denying it, we are living in uncertain times, a time where the world has changed overnight, and business as usual is not usual any more, Whatever we thought of the future it will never be the same again. Uncertainty about the future results in stress and anxiety. Stress and anxiety caused by uncertainty can in turn lead to physical and mental health problems. They can also lead to spiritual health problems like loss of direction and meaning in life and in worse case scenario's suicide.
How can we help you?
The future is about change, but I believe that together we can make the future that little bit more predictable, secure and hopeful. Therefore and through this podcast I will be sharing inspiring stories, ideas and insights from role models to help you - in these exponential changing times - make the future more predictable, secure and hopeful.
With the insights gained you’ll be able to think in new ways about the future, y’our (your and our) future.
"Y’our future is determined by the choices you make today, learn to make these choices strategically and with foresight through futures thinking processes and shape the future that future generations will thank you for."
